Outlaw Blood is hard rock/glam metal band from Los Angeles, California, USA, that was formed in 1989.
Outlaw Blood were another, in a long list of unknown bands trying their hand at rock 'n' roll fame in the late 80's/early 90's. Outlaw Blood were not your typical hair-metal band of the time. These guys owed more to Whitesnake and Dokken, than Poison and Bon Jovi.
Their debut album is a solid four-star release. With songs like Slave To Love, Body & Soul, Tower Of Love, and Red Hot 'n' Blue, the album should have at least made these guys more well known. I can't say they would have dislodged Bon Jovi, but I think they had some songs that were pretty well crafted.
Featuring Jeff Paris (background vocals) and guitarist Marti Frederiksen who has gone on to be a fairly successful songwriter working with such artists as Ozzy, Def Leppard, Aerosmith and the Scorpions.
