TWENTY FOUR 7 is a supergroup featuring THE SCREAM’s John Corabi, RATT’s Bobby Blotzer, and DANGER DANGER’s Rob Marcello.
John Corabi, best known as singer and guitarist with The Scream. The Scream, based in Los Angeles, originally formed in 1989 as Saints Or Sinners. The band originally featured former Angora singer John Corabi and former Racer X members guitarist Bruce Bouillet, bassist Juan Alderete, and drummer Scott Travis. However, Scott Travis quickly left to join Judas Priest, and was replaced by former Shark Island drummer Walt Woodward III. After releasing their 1991 debut Let It Scream on Hollywood Records, which included the single ”I Believe in Me,” Corabi left the band to replace the recently departed Vince Neil in Mötley Crüe between 1992 and 1996. Corabi is considered a “rock journeyman” with a long list of collaborations with established acts such as Angora, Union and ESP (both with former Kiss lead guitarist Bruce Kulick), Ratt (as a guitarist), Zen Lunatic, Brides of Destruction, and Angel City Outlaws (with his then Ratt bandmates Robbie Crane and Bobby Blotzer, and former Ratt guitarist Keri Kelli, who he replaced in Ratt). John was also the lead singer for supergroup The Dead Daisies.
Bobby Blotzer, best known as the drummer for Ratt. He began his career playing with Don Dokken along with Juan Croucier. Blotzer and Croucier left Dokken in 1978 to form FireFoxx along with Ron Abrams on guitar. Along with bassist Juan Croucier, he had played with noted Italian/Swiss guitarist Vic Vergeat, including a tour of the U.S. behind Vergeat’s 1981 solo album Down to the Bone. Blotzer became Ratt’s drummer in 1982. Ratt had five consecutive platinum albums during the 1980s and were best known for their hit singles “Round and Round” and “Lay It Down,” both of which charted in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. Other songs such as “Wanted Man,” “You're in Love,” “Dance,” and “Way Cool Jr.” also charted on the Hot 100. Blotzer has played with several side projects over the years, such as Phucket, FireFoxx, Airborne, Angel City Outlaws, Contraband, Vic Vergeat Band, and has also played as a touring drummer for Montrose. In 2008, Blotzer, Jani Lane (Warrant), Keri Kelli (Alice Cooper), and Robbie Crane (Ratt) released Saints of the Underground’s debut album, Love The Sin, Hate The Sinner.
Rob Marcello, born in Örebro, Sweden, is a neoclassical metal, rock and jazz/fusion guitar player who replaced Andy Timmons as the lead guitarist of Danger Danger in 2003. Rob has also played in the bands Ironhorse, Obsession, Twenty 4 Seven, Marcello-Vestry, Laney’s Legion, Shotgun, and The Defiants. In late 2009, he was also a stand-in guitarist in the 1980s band House of Lords. In 2009, the independent label Frontiers Records released Revolve, featuring the return of Ted Poley as lead singer, as well as new member Marcello. The album coincided with the 20th anniversary of their debut release for Imagine Records.
